Here's the alt text for each panel:
Panel 1A
The interior of a futuristic astronomy classroom. The walls are lined with star charts, holographic planet displays and shelves of astronomical models and blinking equipment. Kwame sits near the front, tablet out, posture upright — the picture of readiness. Rover is curled up asleep under the desk, both tails tucked in.
Caption: Today's lesson was Astronomy, with Professor Hoodwinkle. At least it was one of his favourite subjects.
Panel 1B
At the back of the same classroom, Zane and Xero rock lazily in their chairs, laser pens raised, taking pot-shots at model planets lined up along a shelf. Rover's snoring drifts up from under the desk in the foreground.
Caption: The only problem was the other two students in the room, who were far less enthusiastic. Zane and his little brother Xero were more interested in shooting at model planets with their laser pens than learning anything.
Sound effects: PEW! PEW!
Panel 2
Zane has caught Kwame watching him. A slow, unpleasant smirk spreads across his face. Xero glances nervously between his brother and Kwame. Kwame's expression is calm and neutral — not intimidated, just mildly observing.
Zane says: "Feeling a little nervous today, space nerd?"
Panel 3
Xero leans urgently toward Zane, whispering with wide eyes. Zane waves him off with a dismissive shrug. Kwame watches from the front, expression unchanged.
Xero whispers: "Watch what you say to him. He'll be emperor one day, don't forget."
Zane replies: "We'll see about that. Anyway, he knows I'm only joking."
Panel 4
The classroom door bursts open. Professor Hoodwinkle staggers in, slightly breathless, carrying a large box overflowing with tangled wires, metal scraps and blinking electronics. His hair is dishevelled and his coat askew, but his face is lit up with genuine delight. Kwame immediately sits forward, brightening with enthusiasm. In the background, Zane and Xero keep their heads down, smirking quietly at each other.
Professor Hoodwinkle says: "Good morning, class!"
Kwame replies: "Good morning, Professor."
