Panel 1
A vast underground city built into a cave on Mars. Towers rise from the cavern floor, lit in deep blues, purples and warm amber. Holographic landscapes and star fields are projected across the cave walls and ceiling, creating the illusion of an endless world. Shuttles and drones weave between buildings, and magnetic rail lines arc between the structures. A grand Royal Palace dominates the centre. There is no natural light — only bioluminescent glow, shuttle trails and the warm gold of palace windows.

Panel 2
A bustling palace corridor. Servants in navy and gold uniforms rush past carrying banquet supplies. A young boy in robes — Kwame — picks his way carefully through the crowd, eyes down, avoiding the cracks in the tiled floor. A dog with two tails, Rover, trots close at his heels.

Panel 3
Close-up on Kwame's face. His eyes are wide, his nose raised, and a reluctant smile is creeping in. Blurred in the warm background behind him: towers of pastries, giant cookies and frosted biscuits on silver trays.
Kwame thinks: "Maybe today won't be so bad. I just have to get through my bit."

Panel 4
Kwame grins as he swipes a handful of biscuits from a passing waiter's tray. He drops one down to Rover, who leaps up to catch it. The waiter hasn't noticed a thing.
